What is the value of communication now, how do we currently connect and interact through visual language?
The work shown here is a visual journey of contemporary tastes in all areas of life, from art and fashion, to subcul
ture, sexuality and politics. There is frequently a common theme within each cohort and, not suprisingly, the effects of the current, global political situation have motivated this year’s students. This is a snapshot of fashion communication now; the programme is a platform for contextual investigation and cultural engagement and this publication is an overview of that process.Philip Clarke, Programme leader Fashion Communication and Styling 2017
